Today, I went to my orthodontist where I was informed that I'll going to the prom, to my brother's wedding, and maybe to university with braces in my mouth. FML

Having braces doesnt suck.. its normal. But what is GOING to suck is actually wearing them. It HURTS like hell .. your lips get BROKEN inside the mouth. The pain lasts for a week. And then every time u meet orthodontist (every month) its going to hurt AGAIN .. for some days. .. I have braces :D

ohhhhhh gaaawwd!!! it's the end of the world!!! on a more serious note, it's better to go with braces than with gross, gnarly teeth!

Um, get over it. I had braces for 2 years, and my teeth look so much better. I look like a human, not an ogre now. Plus, my face is a bit thinner and more oval-shaped, which looks better. Just make sure that you have your wisdom teeth taken out, plus any that the orthodontist suggests having taken out. My wisdom teeth and two 12 Year molars were removed, but the side that has the remaining two 12 Year molars is getting screwed up, so I have to have those taken out too.
