Today, I went to a Mexican restaurant with my family. I got stuck trying to decide whether I should get the fajitas or the tacos. I ended up getting the tacos because I didn't want the fajitas to come in sizzling, and I didn't want to "make a scene". My social anxiety has hit a new low. FML

Today, I was at a food truck festival and I spotted a taco truck and eagerly ordered a spicy taco. As I took my first bite, the spice hit me like a freight train and I began to choke. In an effort to save myself, I dropped the taco into the lap of the guy sitting next to me. He looked up, lap splattered in salsa, and asked if I was having a stroke. FML

Everyone is born with a big entrance. But when you grow up, people tell you to be demure and unassuming. **** it! Order the sizzle!! It's worth it. If other people have a problem, that's their fault ;)

You are right. Sizzling fajitas are scary cause they attack you when the waiter puts the plate down. Great reason to make a scene.

that's not why they didn't order them -_-

Jeesh, I hate when people don't read the fmls right. He/she *too lazy to go back and make sure* was scared because the fajitas came with a side of whale blubber and cheese sauce mixed with a lot of sea salt and alcohol (can't forget the steamed monkey tails dipped in soy sauce). Clearly, the people around her would notice that there was something wrong with what she/he was eating. Thus, leading his/her spectators to feel that his/her taste buds had an anomaly. Either that or the fact that people might have discovered his/her secret identity as Octomus Prime (or O.P) through the way he/she has a sweetspot for fajitas made her nervous. Damn I forgot what FML was about, never-mind. ** sarcasm detector explodes **

Op has social anxiety and didnt order the sizzling fajitas because it would attract unwanted attention. Olé

Dude, there's something wrong with your right arm -.-

Spicy foods make me sick as hell too. You're not alone!

I'm trying (unsuccessfully) to figure out who you are responding to.... The OP didn't order fajitas because they didn't want to 'make a scene' with the noise of the hot sizzling pan.

Yep, there's nothing more I'd rather look at than other peoples food when I go somewhere to eat. You're stupid.

No, you're stupid AND ignorant. People with Social anxiety feel that certian things they do will attract attention, making them anxious. OP's case is really bad though, so they felt like if they ordered it it would attract attention.

Fajitas aren't my personal favorite either... Mexican food alone bothers me, it makes me sick. If I had to go to one, a mild taco would be my order every time

That has nothing to do with the FML but I do have to say, FYL for not getting to eat some of the best food out there. Go somewhere and get carne asada. It's basically steak and isn't spicy and at the right places (like Uncle Julio's. There carne is heaven on a plate) its amazing.

That should say "Their" not "There". I don't know how I managed to mess that one up. Sorry guys!

Cool story, bro. You should tell it at restaurants.

It looks like you do too. Goth people r the ones that shoot people up. U got room to talk FYL

^ excuse me? "goth people r the ones that shoot people up"? Get your head up out of your ignorant ass. You rude, stereotypical bitch.

47- While you're being extremely rude and judgmental, I'm just gonna say that it looks like you've been up for a week and you need some sleep! You look like a crackhead in your picture! See!! It sucks when people are rude like you are! There was no need, AT ALL, for your crude comment! Quit being a jackass-bitch and get off your high horse! YOU, in fact, have NO room to talk! None whatsoever!!!

Just call it the way I see it. Rude or not.

And you're rude. I know it's an FML, but anxiety can be a serious problem. If someone had cancer, would you say, "yeah, you should get that checked out .." ?

Cancer has a small chance of being cured so yes I would get that checked out.

I though it was protocol to get cancer checked out.

Yes, actually, if somebody thought they had cancer, I would tell them to get it checked out. What else would you expect me to say? "Oh, that's awful that you think you have cancer but haven't been to a doctor. I hope you get better soon, by yourself!"? The same would apply with someone who needs help with a mental condition like social anxiety. What's rude about telling someone outright that they need to get some help? "Oh, don't worry, you're fine. Nothing wrong with social anxiety or anything." ...really? Now I see THAT as rude. Why tell lies?

Aww :( Therapy maybe ? It could help alot hun .

Hey, it's true: everyone turns around and looks when they hear the sizzling fajitas come out.

Everyone was born with a big entrance. As we grow older we are told to fade into the background. Why?? **** it. Order the sizzle!! It's worth it. If other people have a problem with it, that's their problem.

For the love of all that is holy, stop posting this comment over and over. Sincerely, The rest of us

Don't you see what they're doing? They're purposely posting it multiple times because they're "making a scene". ;)

Actually, FML was glitching like a mofo
