I'm not a fan of cats, but this makes me sad I'm sorry.

aww that makes me sad, FYL coz you would feel so shit :( my dog was wanting attention one night (like every other night) and i was exhausted so i gave him a quick kiss and pushed him away, the next morning my mum had took him to the vets because he had a suspected stroke. i cried all day, and ever since i fuss him at every oppurtunity :( its sad you didnt get that last chance OP :(

People need to stop acting as if OP is a horrible person, they didn't know. Cats cry all the time, for every reason imaginable, and few of those are because they don't feel well. They want attention, outside, to play, to be left alone, for a treat, food, a toy, to be let in... More often than not, when a cat is sick, they don't even show many symptoms, they may even hide their symptoms and youd never know something was wrong till something noticeable happens, like not eating or dying, in this case. The OP wasn't being a bad owner or neglectful, more than likely their cat acted like that regularly and they didn't know anything was wrong. I'm sure they feel horrible now, but this isn't their fault.

FYL :( One of my cats constantly meows, wants to sit on my lap, she sits in front of the screen when I'm on my computer or watching TV. Climbs onto books. She never wants to tell me anything, because she just sits down and shuts up if I pet her. Cats do that. They have times of neediness for no specific reason. I'm with 463/z3vil on this. I'm sorry you lost your cat OP.
