Today, I found a box of birthday candles sitting on the coffee table. Bored, I lit one, and after a minute I threw it away and sat back down on the couch. I started looking at the box and noticed that it said "Magic Re-Lighting Candles" at the exact moment that my trash can burst into flames. FML

I don't understand why someone would invent a flammable object that can't be put out.

Haha. My parents parents put those candles on my 10th birthday cake. My dad was so pissed becuase we couldnt blow them out. You have to soak them in water for like 5 minutes to get them out. Pretty cool but so annoying!!!

No, after like 2 or 3 times blowing them out, they stop relighting

well fire is entertaining sometimes. and well, i dont see how he deserves it. i've never heard of re-lighting candles, i'd assume they were just normal candles. people that say YDI because he didnt check, honestly? if its a candle, people would think it's just a regular candle, not a relighting one. people are not sympathetic as if they dont do stupid shit. learn to not be so hypocritical.

#15 - Usually dunking them in water for a decent period of time works. I've always hated those relighting candles, lol ... they make me paranoid when going to throw them away or put them down somewhere -_-".

well sir you have made my day. YDI for being a Grade A MORON

see this is why you listen to smokey the bear....make sure anything you set on fire is out before you decide to throw it in a trash can that's probably full of paper and/or other flammable objects. YDI

it wasn't on fire anymore. they're re-lighting candles.

Last night was my birthday and my cousin blew it out and licked it, burning his tongue cuz it relit in his mouth

Smokey is not pleased with you OP... Not pleased... Lock your door tonight or he'll come in and whoop your ass.

proof that it's bad to play with fire and that it's good to read the box before you play with what's inside
