Djaypee, I don't know if you've ever been married, but monogamy is NOT overrated (as Steff said). I am not faithful to my wife out of tradition, I'm faithful because I love and respect her. I have women hitting on me all the time; I'm not bragging, just stating a fact (nurses tend to hit on doctors a lot). But I don't give any of them the time of day because I love my wife, not because of some tradition. If more men and women were respectful of their mates, adultery wouldn't be as much of a problem. I realize that's obvious and trite, but it bears repeating.

she should have made sure you were okay with it first. it's one thing to make sure that you two are being safe (ie condoms or whatever) in your own relationship, but you're not there when she's banging other dudes, so I don't care how she tries to spin it. she is being very unfair to OP on multiple levels.

Downgrade her from "girlfriend" to "**** buddy" and keep sticking it to her. Problem solved. . . and you're welcome. Be glad that now it is open season for you to try out replacements while being able to return to her nice warm, um, . . . bed until you've secured a new girlfriend, that is, if you still want to play at this monogamy business.
