Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. As I left his house and began to drive away, I see him chasing after my car barefoot. I stop and roll down the window, ready to listen to the speech he has prepared to win me over with. He takes a moment to catch his breath and says "I want my cellphone back". FML

If you were prepared to listen to his speech, why did you break up with him? Should have tried to work shit out before you did something stupid. Since this is on FML, you're obviously upset that he doesn't want you back, so breaking up with him was just some ploy to get him to pay attention to you. Grow up.

I'm a girl and I think her point of view is insane. OP were you expecting sympathy from people on this site? He didn't say anything mean to you, he just stated that he wanted his cell phone back. Not an FML. Hopefully he can find a girl who isn't a drama queen and doesn't need a speech from her boyfriend after she dumps him just so she feels in control.

You posted this as an FML. Why? You probably had his phone, which is why he demanded for it, and you poorly and arrogantly assumed he was going to 'plead' to you in some way. As I recalled you broke up with him, not the other way around. Did you just want him to plead to you? Are you into that?
