Today, my dad had a go at me because he thought I was embarrassed by him and that was why I never invited any of my friends over. I was too embarrassed to tell him it's actually because I don't have any friends to invite over. FML

It really isn't that simple. What if OP is shy and has a hard time talking to people in the first place?

friends can be made, tons of them. But you only have one father (well, most of us) and it's important to at least trust him. So just tell him. It's a good start :)

If you have facebook look up alex LaGrew and say who you are and I will most definitely add you and be your friend. :D

Why can nobody write in proper English these days?

Oh, I would say, "Tell mom to stop seducing them."

This is apparently a very bad case of an american butchering the language. the "my dad had a go at me" not you comment.

It is Texas, why not? They it make it difficult to own guns in my state, yet people still get shot with illegal guns.

79 - Because standards have plummeted. Kids from the millenia generation have learned to write online, where abbreviations, slang and (sigh) "text-speak," are the primary forms of communication. You'd be appalled at how many students turn in papers that use abbreviations, spell "you" as "u," don't always capitalize or punctuate. I mean, some use "text-speak" abbreviations, like, "BTW." Sadly, Standard American English is losing the battle to dialects that are slang and internet based. Shoot - even Webster's continues to decreased it's standards. I heard they have added "friend" in as a verb.

haha 70. just let the cat fight take it's place
