Today, my 4-year-old twin boys are fighting because they both want to watch the SAME show on Netflix. They don't want the other one to choose, because somehow that invalidates their own choice, even though they both get to watch what they want, which is "Barbie, life in the dream house". FML

I think it's good that they want to watch that. It shows that they aren't conforming to stereotypes and aren't afraid to express themselves. But fighting over it... That's adorable! But I guess FYL for having to sort it out....

That is an amazing example of kid logic. "I don't want to watch what I want to watch if YOU pick it!" You know they'd both be happier if you made them watch something neither likes, just because then the other sibling wouldn't win.

And that's the point where Netflix is suddenly unavailable for at least a week. It's a normal phase for children to insist on making their own choices, but it's our job as parents to not let us and everyone else be terrorized because of it.

Tell them that you are going to chose and "chose" the show they want to want. so they get to watch it but neither of them chose it, they should be happy that way

Today, I am thankful that I finally found a doctor willing to permanently sterilize me, even if she is two hours away. FMLs like this explain why the drive will be totally worth it. Sorry, OP.

Congrats on finding one, #56, especially if you are (percieved as) a woman. Sucks that most doctors are so willing to perform vasectomies on males of any age, but for women it requires jumping through a hundred hell fire lit hoops. Hope the procedure goes well and is a weight off your mind.
