Today, I took a test as part of a job requirement. I took a sip from a bottle of juice, and the lady leading the test gave me a warning. I tried to explain that if I didn't, I would faint. She took the bottle and hid it. 15 minutes later I collapsed. She thought I was faking. I'm hypoglycemic. FML

Wow. One on hand, you really should have said "I'm hypoglycemic," instead of just saying that you would faint. But on the other.. Taking juice away on a job test from somebody that claims that they'd faint... She should be getting in trouble for that. Hope you got the job!

In America, this is what we sue the living daylights out of people for all the time. I know not every country is as litigious, but still...time to lawyer up.

Damn. What a bitch. Though you should have told you're hypoglycemic.

I don't think OP was wrong. OP should have gone back and **** that bitch up.

God, that sucks. That woman needs to be fired, punched in the face, and possibly hit with a car. People are morons. It took me practically having a seizure in class and being unable to speak to explain that I needed to go to the nurse for my chorus teacher to realize that - what a surprise! - people who appear perfectly healthy can have really screwed up blood sugar levels. I don't technically have diabetes, but my blood sugar gets out of control really easily.

I know the feeling. I have renal issues, and in high school I got yelled at for having drinks in class. I was on heavy diuretics at the time and frequently became dehydrated because my body couldn't properly purge the 90+lbs of water I was retaining as fast as the meds tried to. Tell the next person that does that to **** right off. I generally do when someone challenges something I need for my health.

wow, how irresponsible of that women. I'm a type 1 diabetic and I always get crap about having drinks or whatever to get my blood sugar up. So I defiantly know where your coming from.
