Today, I was walking my dog when I tripped on the leash, dropping his treat bag. He snatched one, looked at me, and ran full speed in the opposite direction. I had to chase him for three blocks, yelling his name. He thought it was a new game. FML

Today, today while walking my dog in a different part of town, a man ran screaming out of his house, and threw a plastic bag at me. It was dog poop. It was the first time I'd ever walked in front of his house with my dog. FML

Today, I found a lost dog and called the owner. When he arrived, I thought it would be cute to put the dog down so he would run back into his owner's arms, like in movies. As soon as I put the dog down, it ran away again. FML

You shouldn't leave your dog outside alone without at least keeping on eye on him from a window or something. Especially if it's a puppy, they don't know boundaries well. Also they don't really know who to follow since you haven't had the chance to make much of a connection with him yet

Why would you leave a new puppy alone for any reason in a yard? He could be eating something dangerous or digging holes or screwing your fence up. Seriously. Maybe it's a sign that you're not meant to be a dog owner -_-
