I have every sympathy for you, my boyfriend usually decides to go on WoW when he's not working, as opposed to speaking to me. He makes it up to me when he sees me though, so I let him off ;) I have also discovered I could bribe him into buying me something to pass my time whilst he's on for endless hours :) ahhh fun.

I play and I don't have any problems meeting up with my gf and friends 'n shit. That aside, I would've chosen the game over you aswell, you're a bitch for making him decide between the things he loves to do (badum tsss), and WoW making him happier should've been a clear sign that shit didn't go well between you and him...

Definitely not enough info here to make a call, but I agree with YDI for giving somebody an ultimatum, period. I've been a WoW player for 2 years now and I don't see why all the hate. It IS possible to play a game like that casually, I play for MAYBE 1-2 hours a night when I don't go out, and that's after I get off work at 11:00PM. The time I spend on WoW would be time I wasted doing something else stupid like watching shitty late night TV anyway. I know a LOT of people that are completely casual. It's not as impossible as you people make it sound. That being said, my hobbies are golf, playing music, and WoW. If ANYBODY told me to choose them, or either of my hobbies than they'd better get ready to be punted out of my front door.

I'm a girl and I play WoW, and have had boyfriends who either play it with me, or make fun of me for it. Honestly, threatening someone over a game is pretty ridiculous; if you care enough you can at least discuss it, or accept it. Chances are, you have some pretty ******* annoying habits that he overlooks. Also, it's not impossible to balance WoW with real life and relationships, I promise.
