Bad mom

Today, my daughter's school called to inform me that I needed to bring her some sneakers. Not feeling like driving the 15 minutes to her school, I told them I was away from town. Then I realized I was on my house phone. FML

"I lied, just because I am lazy, but I couldn't even do it right." Oh yeah, obviously your life is terrible.

Mother of the year of the year award goes to... (drum roll) ...Not you, you lazy bitch.

Mother of the year material you aren't.

" Today,, I ruined my sneakers at Recess/Gym. My mother was too lazy to bring me some sneakers, So I called my dad who works an hour away to bring me a pair. FML."

#136, you're an idiot. This would have the same reaction from me regardless of the parent's gender - that the parent in question should not be one.

yeah, because his ladie's precious little snowflake is obviously going to be scarred for life because she had to wear THE SAME shoes she already had on for an activity. It's not like the child was sick or bleeding. No wonder there are so many self-entitled, bratty hosebeasts running around. People who are calling this woman names are the same people who call the school every day demanding action when little Madysen says that someone made fun of her designer jeans.

Um, hi. Have you ever been to school? They wouldn't LET you wear the same shoes. This is assuming they are even for gym, which considering the school CALLED HOME, is probably not the cas.

They let everyone else wear the same shoes - or do the activities in their bare feet. No need to be rude, just because people have obviously been brought up and gone to different schools from you. Really though, it's a pair of shoes. She's not going to die if she doesn't get them. You're being too judgemental, and not taking other POVs into perspective. In future, the daughter will remember her own shoes, because one day, as horrible as it must sound, mummy isn't going to be there. I'm just coming up for my 15th Birthday in May, and I already know that we need to learn to be independant - other people seem to think that the world revolves round them, and really. For most people who claim to be adults, a 14 year old (& probably younger people too) knows more about independance than you? I'd find that utterly mortifying. So, wise up before you start verbally attacking the OP. xx

Too lazy to drive 15 ******* minutes? YDI

why is everyone over critical? this is a "fml" not a "talk shit to me cause i posted something on here" type thing, so she was too lazy to take her daughter shoes, everyone gets lazy. get over it! and as for you op, someone needs to teach you how to lie :D
