Use a biro for crying out loud.
You done goofed, Goober.
Try cleaning it with alcohol
An old newspaper article that my mother keeps around says that chloroform will take out the stain, good luck trying to get some though.
Worst case scenario, it'll take out the inlaws.
use vinegar and baking soda to get it out
hand sanitizer works well with ink and perm. marker
use hair spray on the ink stain.. it will remove it... don't let it dry till u have it clean
I can second the hair spray. I have successfully removed ink from white sofa cushions with hair spray. The cheapest crap you can find. Then wash with warm soapy water and blot dry.
how do you spill ink? what were you writing with...a quill?
Keywords
What were you trying to write it with? A quill pen? How do you spill ink if you use a ballpoint pen like a normal person.
Don't risk trying any fixes from the internet; most likely it will only get worse. Apologize to your in-laws and let them decide on how to clean it. Sorry!
