Today, I was applying some acne ointment. The directions said, "Apply a thin layer, covering the entire affected area." In other words, for me: My entire face. Lovely. FML

  • That doesnt work for everyone... sunlight helps sure but you can have a very bad case and then you should look into medicines (to the OP) there's stuff like roacutane that really helps (at least it did for me). If you have health insurance it should be covered, IDK how that works in USA but for me it was covered completely and now im completely rid of it.

  • Seriously, it could be worse. I don't say it doesn't suck to have acne, but it could be much, much worse. Ever heard of eczema? Mine is now mostly cured, but a few years ago I had to apply "a thick layers of medicine" on my arms, legs, ears and quite a large part of my face. AND the medicine costed c.a. 30$ for a 10mg.
