Today, I bought some chocolate brownies for the first time in months. I hardly ever eat chocolate. When got back to my boyfriends house, I pulled one out to eat and his mom started lecturing me on why chocolate is bad. She then poked my thigh fat and said, "This is what chocolate does." FML.

That's super rude of her. I've had a similar experience, it's annoying. I don't think there is anything that can be said to someone like her. She just won't understand or care. (At least that was my experience). You eat as much chocolate brownies as you want OP. Screw everyone else. It's your life so enjoy.

Boyfriend's mother body shaming you? Run far away, OP. Your boyfriend is either going to be the same way or emotionally scarred himself from her torment. Or you could do a 180 and tell her "you should talk, look at those _____" something imperfect about her. She might just need a taste of her own medicine to make her stop.

look on the internet for facts on chocolate. If you have good quality chocolate it's actually good for you. Acticoa check chocolate is the best. Look it up and shove it in her face!

I hope your boyfriend told her off. That's not ok for her to talk to you like that.

She needs some more chocolate in her life. It helps take the edge off of bitchiness, uptight attitudes, and gullibility that is strongly influenced by pro-anorexia popular media.

Although super inappropriate of her, she's not the one dating you. While her words are hurtful, as long as your boyfriend loves you for who you are, both inside and out, then you keep eating the brownies in front of her.
