If it happened at work, get them to pay for you to go to the hospital and have a few days off to recover. It is the law that they at least offer to write a report. You can't wait too long though, and do not start working beforehand or your claim is no good.
take some pain killers
Hey guys, it's ok. It was kinda my fault anyway. At least the bruise is starting to go away.
I personally think you should still get a check over- it isn't unheard of for supposedly minor head injuries to cause bleeding that causes the victim to suddenly collapse. It also occurred at work so the business is still partially culpable for the incident. Better safe than sorry.
Your fault or not, it's a head injury. If you haven't gotten it checked by a competent medical professional, do so now.
