Today I had to contact tech support for my computer. I had a chat window open + a customer service rep on the phone with me, and granted him access to my computer. He fixed it and we said goodbye on phone. 30 minutes later my computer cursor started moving & he called me beautiful. FML

Disconnect from the internet, make sure no programs like TeamViewer are installed. Do a malware scan, privacy may be at risk. A creepy dude is not to be trusted.

Try calling back and requesting to speak to a higher up. That kind of behavior shouldn't be tolerated.

You know those headphones that have microphones? Find a broken one and plug only the plug into your mic port additionally to taping over your webcam. You know for good measure. No audio, no visual. This is the moment when paranoia is healthy.

Call the line back, request a manager, report the behavior, and have do a complete scam for anything that would allow them to access it again. I'm pretty sure this is a terminable offense.
