was it by any chance this guy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9Q1Eegn2hw
Dude, it's so NOT COOL to make your boyfriend choose like that! World of Warcraft is absolutely EPIC and my boyfriend accepts that I love to play for at least a few hours a day. (Yes, I am a girl whose boyfriend has to deal with her playing WOW.) How about instead of being a douche about it, how about you try to join him? Create a character and actually try it. My parents play together and they love that they both get to spend time with each other doing something they love.
Woot! I started playing last year and then my husband started too. Now we've got two computers and two accounts. Beats the crap out of watching t.v. or doing separate things! Now we actually spend time together! WoW FTW! - Oh, and we're both well over 30. ;)
haha, wow. I feel bad for you. But, this made me laugh so hard, because I have a freind who plays WOW all the time. Now I understand why he can never get a girlfreind. haha.
Unless the game infringes on your emotional rights as a couple you had no justification in weighing your relationship against a video game. Call it a psychic disorder, or whatever you want, but many of us who play MMOs like WoW, MapleStory, CABAL, etc, feel a kind of obligation to play and stay active, whether it's motivated by friends who play with you or simply wanting to play a game. Instead of being an multiplicative ass you could have considered playing the game with him. If you loved him enough to be in a relationship with him and he'd rather spend his time with a game, taking his game away from him will not improve your relationship status. Maybe if you got a little bit into the game, he'd feel better about you, and maybe you could play the game together and have fun as a couple. Sure, actually going out on real dates is a more appealing option, but the preferences of men shouldn't be overshadowed by the high-class tastes of women.
If we refer to the boyfriends reply "WoW makes me happier" I think that definitely already implies a strong kink in the relationship (or more the bfs attitude to her behaivour). YDI if you are dumb enough to pull a big ultimatum then you have to also accept the fact that things may not go to plan and follow through; not just start feeling sorry for yourself. Perrsonally, I think if a bf ignores your warnings (and if your ultimatum came out of the blue you really are just being an over reactive bitch), it may be easier to save yourself the heartache and not grace him with the honour of a decision. Then it's his problem - not yours.
let me guess. he's a fat fucktard who sits on his enormously heavy ass all day and night infront of his computer playing WOW and being a knight paladid whatever on his fantasy world and having cybersex with his WOW GF. Please go get a real boyfriend.
We need a "report" button!
Guess its a good thing my husband and I both play, and that we NEVER let anything become more important than our relationship!
YDI for caring that he plays a video game.

Girls need to stop giving guys ultimatums. Why can't we have both?
