Today, after calling the insurance plan for my new iPhone a "huge waste of money", I promptly dropped it in the store while trying to put it into my pocket, cracking the screen. FML

Today, I dropped my 400 dollar iphone, that's been through toilets and 6 foot falls, on a walmart floor and shattered the screen. I managed, however, to catch the 2 dollar macaroni and cheese before it hit the ground. FML

Today, while walking to work, I accidentally dropped my $400 cell phone on the sidewalk. The screen shattered into a million pieces. A woman passing by looked at the ruined phone and said, "Now that's what you call a dropped call!" She laughed and kept walking. FML

Today, I stood in line for one hour to get a new phone. It then took me 2 minutes to drop it and shatter the screen, and 2 seconds for the employee to look at, laugh, and tell me, "That Sucks." FML

Today, to keep my phone safe while I went on some rides, I took it out of my pocket so I could put it in my bag. Just as I pulled it out, a woman ran into me, knocking my phone to the ground and breaking the screen. FML

Today, I helped friends move home, and since we couldn't all fit in their car I took the bus. While waiting, my new phone slipped and crashed on the floor. It now has a cracked screen right between my two overpriced phone protectors. FML

Don't worry, the insurance plans are a HUGE waste of money. Had the plan since I got the phone and when I needed to use it it was cheaper just to get it fixed. Cancelled it immediately.

#14, with an iPhone you are paying $100 for apple icare. To replace a phone it is a $50 deductible payable to apple, not to Verizon or AT&T or whoever your carrier is. You can replace your phone twice under one icare contract, then the coverage is void.

You have 30 days from purchase and unless the phone isn't usable it's cheaper to out source. If stolen or dropped in water it's not covered. Threw my gfs I phone into a wall when she was casually talking to some guy that supposedly tried to rape her and was say he loved her even tho she was saying he's just a friend (my ass) any way she had a case on it so the screen was ok, how ever the internal components were destroyed beyond anything they had seen before, she got one free because of hardware problems. Hardware and software problems are the only reason they'll replace it for free

#72: Not true anymore. If you damage the phone yourself, they won't replace it without AppleCare. They'll replace it if there is any damage they think could be their own fault (software and SOME hardware issues), but they won't replace a phone with a cracked screen for free.
