(VIDEO) This 16 Year Old Girl Was Pushed Off Of A Bridge By Her Friend. We Bet Your Friends Are Looking Pretty Good Right Now.

Taking the phrase "with friends like these, who needs enemies" to a whole new level.

Jordan Holgerson suffered horrific injuries after being pushed off of a 60 ft bridge in Vancouver, Washington.

Holgerson belly-flopped into the Lewis River and broke five ribs, punctured her lung and was left with air bubbles in her chest.

To make matters much worse, Holgerson was not pushed off accidentally. The 16-year-old girl was pushed by her good friend Taylor Smith.

Smith can be seen aggresively pushing Holgerson off of the bridge in the video below.

Holgerson had initially climbed up to the bridge with the intention of jumping but began to have second thoughts once she got up there.

I mean, sure. Who wouldn't have second thoughts before plunging down 60 feet? In case it wasn't clear, this is not what people mean when they say you should 'push your friends into facing their fears.'

“At first I didn’t really want Taylor to get into trouble, but now that I’ve thought about it more, I’m kind of wanting her to sit in jail and think about at least what she did." Holgerson said to Today.

Smith was charged with reckless endagerment on August 17th.

I'm surprised that they all weren't charged for jumping off the bridge that's illegal anywhere, yrs ago friends of mine where daring each other to jump off a ore Dock that's about 90ft tall they all jumped when police told them to get off some were injured but all were charged with trespassing.

A lot of people die from jumping off of that specific bridge, that’s why there are signs everywhere in that area near that bridge that say ‘No Jumping or Diving’

Just this year the park rangers in that area said that someone died from jumping off the bridge. She was incredibly lucky.

No, this made national news. That girl was seriously injured. She was in the hospital for quite a while. Do you really think getting pushed off a bridge and suffering from broken ribs and a punctured lung as a result isn't a big deal?
