TV Channel Dedicated To Christmas Movies Goes Live In September

Too soon, guys. Too soon.
Four days ago, with 13 weeks left until Christmas, it happened. A special new TV channel was launched in the UK, completely dedicated to Christmas movies. Yes, citizens of the UK now have a back-to-back Christmas movie marathon that'll last until the beginning of January 2019.
We know that Thanksgiving isn't a "thing" across the pond, but they still brutally steamrolled Halloween. They couldn't even wait until the first day of autumn! Is nothing sacred over there? Have they (TV execs, not all Brits) no shame?
Christmas movies can be great, and they definitely have a special place in the holiday landscape, but it really is just too soon for our taste. In a way, it's kind of a crude reminder that 2018 will be coming to an end soon. Well, there are still three months left, but this makes it feel soon! We want to ignore the passing of time, not have it thrown into our faces with carols and candy canes. Seeing the decorated stores in November is bad enough!
All that being said, we won't try to keep you from it if it's what your heart desires. According to Lad Bible, the channel is called "True Christmas" and can be found on Freeview - 62, Sky - 185, and Virgin - 424 (whatever those are). Hopefully most of you will note it for future viewing in December. Please give Halloween the love and respect it deserves.
Time for your thoughts... Should Christmas stay in December where it belongs or is this just a fun way to extend the winter holidays? What about autumn? Is she fine or is this an attack on her character?
