Today, while driving me to the airport for a trip to Japan, my mother started crying. When I asked her why, she said, "I just know that if the plane crashes, I will never see you again because you are going to hell." Thank you, mom. I love you too. FML

Your mom loves you, doesn't compromise her own values and loves you despite an obvious difference in life choices. Seems like you're the same to her. That's family - if they weren't blood we wouldn't stand them.

OP here! this happened a few years back when my mom became a born again Christian. Lots of stuff happened, including her suddenly thinking harry potter was satanic. Its mellowed a bit over the years so long as we dont talk religion lol she believes I'm going to hell because I am bisexual and recently wiccan. As long as we dont talk about God or Gods, we are good lol thank you all for the upvotes and comments!
