Today, my stepbrother's attempt at making a snack resulted in the microwave catching on fire and the everlasting smell of burnt pizza rolls. FML

How your step brother managed to do this intrigues me…

Get some fans and let it air out OP! At least your house didn't burn down!

This is the real question here

Get some fans and let it air out OP! At least your house didn't burn down!

I mean at least it's not fish or old vegetables .

Burnt popcorn is pretty bad too.

hot pockets are dangerous. consult and expert before microwaving.

But who was talking about hot pockets?

I realised too late. pizza rolls are not pizza pockets. I'm not even sure what you would call a hot pocket

I believe the box calls them sandwiches

The package says spread 6 pizza rolls on a plate evenly. He didn't follow directions!

Let's be honest no one ever follows that rule.

nonsensical 26

It's absolutely frightening to think he might've put 5 on one side and 1 on the other.

Who follows that rule? *ahem* 12 jammed on a plate.

More like let's see if I can fit this entire bag on the plate lol

15-20 @ 99 seconds. depending on how good your microwave is

he must be proud and thinking,"wiw I almost burnt down the house... FIRST TRY

My stepbrother put easy mac into a toaster. That was 2 months ago, I can still smell it whenever I make waffles.

can we get some more details as to HOW you put easy mac in a toaster?

It's more of an oven-toaster combo. And he isn't the brightest fellow.

How old is your stepbrother?

To get rid of that smell microwave a bowl filled with water and 2 - 4 teaspoons of lemon juice (or half a lemon) for about 7 minutes. Let it sit for 5 - 10 minutes (this helps the steam deodorize and loosen stuck on food.) I find that it does nothing for the stains and discoloration, but the food and weird smells go away.

Someone didn't read the box..

Me too, so let's do an experiment. Put pizza rolls in the microwave and then set the time according to the oven directions. Anyone have a spare microwave lying around?

I think I know how to do it, but I love my microwave too much to try to see if it would catch on fire. I also love my pizza rolls

Life finds a way. One time, Little Me tried to melt chocolate using the microwave. But Little Me didn't know shit about cooking. Long story short, Little Me did not succeed in melting the chocolate, but succeeded in melting the plastic bowl. FML
