Today, my Spanish teacher imitated the sound of a coffee grinder, and then said in Spanish, "OK, all of you do it." I did it, thinking everyone else would too. I was the only one in the class who'd understood the Spanish part. FML

Why are you worried about it? The teacher will recognize you for this if any thing!

Or maybe they knew but they didn't want to sound stupid

Why did she want you to make a coffee grinder noise anyway? 0_o

The teacher did that to test and see who understood her Spanish instruction. Who knows why she picked a coffee grinder noise though!

#26 is right, it helps with the Spanish r

#26 anyone who thumbed you down either doesn't understand the importance of the rolled R sound in Spanish or is just being a burro.

This isn't really that bad of an FML, your teacher will appreciate it.

Bonus marks. Always good to score brownie points and differentiate yourself from the class. That's how A's are made.

At least you understood what was said, may have been embarrassing but at least your paying attention and learning.

Nothing to worry about! Good on you for knowing the class material! :)

Understanding another language, quick enough to understand and carry out instructions, getting noticed by the teacher in a positive light? I fail to see the problem, here.

how does one impersonate a coffee grinder? am I the only one who wants to know what that sounds like? lol

At least you understood what she said right?

Why FYL? :P clearly you're the best in your class!
