Today, my self-esteem sank so low that I sabotaged my workplace's corporate network, then fixed it, just so I could feel needed. FML

You realize you can get fired in the blink of an eye for crap like this? Then again, your networth should be fixed when you find a job again!

You should get a cat

Or if she doesn't get caught, she could get a raise.

What was your next option if you couldn't fix it

OP I really hope you didn't rm -rf / the network..

OP is not a true sysadim ... A true sysadim keeps the network up at all costs!

You should get more involved instead.

And sabotaging the company's network and then fixing it isn't getting involved?

Correction; involved in positive, outgoing actions

Or maybe #22 meant join an adults softball team, and get mor invloved with the community? You never know (:

Hopefully that gave you the confidence boost to do something helpful

Like, not break stuff deliberately.

Just try to find a book or something to expand your knowledge in your field of work so that you make improvements to the network or other various systems. Or assist any other co-workers who may new help with what they're doing!

If you're willing to go as far as that, you might want to get help.

Maybe ask your manager if you could do any little odd job around the place?

why don't u get a different job, maybe its time to try for that dream....

You should get a cat

And learn French, and write it love letters. Win-win

Cats don't need you. They tolerate you. If you make them food and clean the litter box, that is.

Lucky you still have a job

I think it's time to find a fulfilling hobby instead of fucking with your employer. Maybe try swimming. No one has high self esteem in a bathing suit so everyone is in the same boat :)

10-except those with body image issues.

#35 - That's what #10 is saying; that everybody is self-conscious in a bathing suit! Edit: unless you mean issues in the opposite, narcissistic direction. If that's the case, then forgive me.
