I always tell interviewers that I’m not in the best signal area and ask for the best number to call back on right at the start of the interview. That way any technical issues are covered even if not my fault
You called back and they didn't pick up, and YOU are the unprofessional one? You dodged a bullet there, OP.
Sorry, OP. If anything like that happens again, keep trying to phone back, and email them as immediately as possible to apologize and explain and reschedule.
