Today, my new colleagues took me up on my idea of a group night out. Perhaps they'll actually invite me along next time. FML

There's got to be a reason OP

Agreed, a group of adults doesn't just alienate one person unless that person is annoying or negative to be around.

No, theres either a Reasonable explanation or some utterly unlogical reason people won't 'Hang out' with OP but Otherwise OP dear.. Perhaps ask a small group of people to have a drink with you will be a proper way to start things up?..

I took it as OP had always suggested "hey one night we should hang out" but never actually came up with an event.

Wow, that's rude. Sorry OP.

Maybe because it was your idea, they assumed you'd go? Never hurts to ask OP, find out what happened. It could have just been a miscommunication that can be easily fixed for next time:)

Well, if they never invited OP, I'm assuming they never told OP they were going until after. You can't invite yourself to something you don't know is happening.

I've seen this happen before. Socially awkward coworker proposes a night out and everyone shows up except him. Next day people ask why he didn't show and he says "you never invited me."
If his coworkers were just being dicks then that sucks, but I sense miscommunication or social awkwardness are the culprits here.

Who needs colleagues when you have Netflix and ice cream? Of course, if you are lacking in both of those OP, then that is even more unfortunate.
Also, don't get too hung up about them forgetting to invite you. It's possible they were already hanging out and, on a spur of the moment decision, decided to go out on the town.

Pay two French models to go with you and show up. If they confront you all amazed and shit, simply push them aside and enjoy a Cuban cigar while sipping a bottle of brandy with your dates. Don't forget that gangster accent.

OP is a female. . .

Oh. French models can be guys too. And change that accent to match that of Colonel Doctor Agent Irina Spalko, the Soviet spy from ‘Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull’.
Gosh, I entertain myself too much.

That's an awful feeling OP. Hopefully they didn't intentionally hurt your feelings. If it was intentional then perhaps they aren't people that you want to associate with anyway. Nobody likes a group of cunts.
