Today, my kitchen sink was clogged. I poured a bottle of Drano down and came back two hours later. The clog is still there, but the glue on the pipe is not and now there is Drano-water all over the floor, staining and dissolving everything in my kitchen. FML

op... ydi. you should know what you're doing when you mess with stuff like drain-o. if you're not careful..you could end up with broken pipes and drain-o all over your floor. :P

plunger should always be the first choice, only if it doesn't work, then try something else.

not true. draino is designed not to eat glue joints no matter how long it stands in plastic pipes. Fail.

Should have just taken the trap off and cleaned it. It'll probably smell like shit, but it's the best way to go about cleaning it.
