Today, my company is doing so bad that I had to take down my symbolic first dollar so that I could buy a roll of crackers for dinner. FML

Every success story usually starts out like this. A piece of advice: tell everyone, and I mean everyone, what you do and why they should hire you. Be shameless about it. Networking is the key to any successful business.

If this is YOUR business, then keep trying! Facebook didn't happen overnight! If you're just an employee to a different company... Yeah go ahead and switch jobs like #2 said

^You both made me think of the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness." OP, if you want it badly enough and try with everything you've got, it will happen. Keep your head up :-).

I agree with #2. Just as symbolic putting in the first dollar is, the same is true for taking it out. Maybe time for some introspection and a rethink if you haven't already. Whatever it is.. Don't give up, just be pragmatic about the "way" to achieve your goals

@2, completely unrelated; but how did you find out your hair as well as cheetos are flammable? You don't have to answer here, but I encourage a follow-up!

Not really. He was simply referencing the episode of Spongebob where it is revealed that Mr. Krabs kept his first dollar hanging on the wall.

Keep at it OP. Hard work pays off eventually, even if it doesn't seem it just now. Good luck!
