Today, my boss entrusted me with his car to run an errand, as I usually take the bus. I managed to get there and back safely before someone slammed into me while I was re-entering the lot, causing major damage. It was his wife, who thought I was a car thief. FML

Smart thinking by your boss's wife, you boss must be thrilled that she found his 'stolen' car and then deliberately damaged it...

Was this your first time meeting her? Sounds like you really hit it off!

Why did she believe that the best way to stop a potential car thief was to ram her car into the stolen car? Comprehensive car insurance would cover theft. And regardless of if she had that or not, I'm not sure any insurance company will cover a ramming of one of your cars into another one of your cars.
But look on the bright side OP, at least you didn't own either of the wrecked vehicles.

She’s Wonder Woman!
Rather that call the police like a normal citizen, she decided to fight crime head-on! Or T-bone style, or doggie style, depending on how she smashed you.

"Oh, that's my husbands car! Someone must've stolen it! Oh, I know! I'm just going to break it!"

The hardest thing to do must be keeping a straight face when you tell your boss what happened to his car.

why would she attack the thief returning the vehicle with her own car?
