I can relate so much.
My best friend got himself a crazy-jealous girlfriend, too.
Was not allowed to have female friends etc.
We were close as siblings, it broke my heart -my husband could not understand how my friend could live with this conditions.
Well, he stuck with her for nearly 20 years. Now they broke up (SHE cheated on him!) and he called me a week ago.
I hope we can get back to where we started but I fear we might have changed too much to become as close as before.
So many years without contact, so many changes in our lives.
I hope your friend will get wise soon!

Yeah had the same happen except (not that it makes it better or worse) but we are both guys and both straight. So you being a girl has nothing to do with it. It’s about control.

Sadly (or stupidly) enough I was also on the other side of this too. Regardless of why someone is like that caving to their demands is like buy an alcoholic friend vodka. Yeah it relieves the shakes but it prolongs the problem

Do you mean you wanted to self harm? I'm depressed too... my friendships are kinda unstable because I feel like I don't deserve anyone lol

No. Due to lovely example of what should have been how not to behave I was the manipulator. Monopolizing her time and for reasons I still can explain getting physically upset when she left even for small periods of time. That was not a fun thing to get past.

He’ll get tired of her bullshit and dump her, and then you can resume the friendship. That is, if you can ever forgive his treachery. Bro Code says you have to!😂😂😂
