Consider that one very good birthday present. You're better off without him. You should be with someone who wants to be with you, reciprocates your feelings, and would NEVER forget your birthday. So even though it sucks now...you're better off. Happy Birthday! Make the best of it. Next year at this time, you could have everything you wish for when you blow out your candles today :).

This is in response to #22 in case FML screws up again. You are so right! I waited for Mz right, a very long time in fact. We found each other and have been together for almost 23 years now. OP, your "man" sounds like a major asshole. Kick his ass to the curb. Sounds like you found out in time to avoid the shit later. He'll cheat on you first chance he gets, IMMHO CRY FOR NOW, IT WORKS WONDERS. My cybershoulder is yours. As others have said, you'll find better.
