Today, it's been 2 months since I broke up with my boyfriend. He's been texting me every time he found a bobby pin at his house that belonged to me, saying we should both see it as a sign of us belonging together. If he keeps this up every time he finds one, the texts will probably never stop. FML

Today, my boyfriend broke up with me via text message. Every 20 minutes or so, I'll get a notification that I have a new message, and I check it just to find that same message sitting there. I'm being trolled by my own phone. FML

Today, I received yet more mail for my ex-fiancé. We've been broken up for nearly a year and I've told him multiple times to change his address. Getting his mail is a constant reminder that I haven't dated since. FML

Today, I broke up with my boyfriend. He then told me that he will love me forever, wait for me and will follow me to the ends of the earth. Apparently, that means standing outside my door and calling my house phone every five minutes. It's been 3 hours straight now. FML

Today, the ex of my boyfriend of 18 months called me and put her phone in her purse. I heard my boyfriend say he's sick of me, he hasn't been happy for a year, and he's afraid to leave because he feels sorry for me. He bought her a ring. I got earrings. FML

Today, it has been over 3 months since my housemates ended their 1 month long relationship. He's still creepily obsessed with her. He picked the bathroom lock when I was in the shower and tried to get in, and then called me a "fucking c*nt" when he realised it was me in there, not her. FML

If you respond, or haven't blocked him (and you haven't or you wouldn't get messages/calls) then you're just leading him on. Close that correspondence (and relationship) completely. He'll grieve and carry on more quickly.

In response to 3, don't even bother confronting him - he keeps bugging you and acknowledging it/him will just let him think it's okay to keep bugging you. Change your number, instruct any mutuals to not give him your new one, block him from all social media, and, for good measure, block his number, too.

Bobby pins are like the reverse thing of socks. One goes on the feet, the other on your head. One keeps dissapearing, the other keeps appearing every where years after a woman stepped foot in your house.
