Just because you have the day off doesn’t mean you shouldn’t neglect your duty’s as a father. Get the kids ready and take them to school. Your wife works everyday taking care of them to. And if you wake up everyday at 5:30, you can sleep in at least until 7 so that’s an extra hour and a half. After you drop them off then relax at the house. Maybe do something special for your wife. Make her a nice lunch or something

My husband works early mornings too, and he 100% gets to sleep in on a day off. And my kid gets up at the asscrack of dawn. I will nap when the kid naps.
That being said, this woman can go the heck to bed when she gets home because she already gets to sleep in until 8/8:30 everyday anyway! Plus the weekends!

How about everyone stay home that day and do something nice together ? When I was young, my father would make me skip school once in a while so we could go for a walk in the nature, visit a museum, a castle... I guess it was possible because he had flexible hours and my mom was my teacher. Lol
Now that he's passed away, those are very precious memories to me. More than knowing 6x6=36 by heart. :)

I think this is a sad conversation for both of you and I hope you were able to rest and have a lovely time together!

.... so an extra almost 3 hours of sleep isn't enough? and you clearly have no idea how much work getting your kids ready for school and out the door is. fuck her life for having a partner who doesn't help with the first priority, the kids.

Im in the same situation. I work 12 hours a day from 5am-5:30pm. She goes to school 2 days a week and talks about hiw shes frustrated always being with my 2 year old daughter. I pay for everything since she doesnt have a job. I would love if the roles were switched but thats not how my mindset is programmed lol
