I am SO sorry. My husband is a year out of chemo, I know the struggle. Many people survive cancer these days. Get your family and friends around you, you will need them.

Even if his divorce request and the email arrived the same day, he is already emotionally divorced from you to ask this. I am so sorry. You spent such a long time with him have him request to end it.

This happened with my ex in 2003, sorta. He proposed and then instant-dumped me and a 6 year relationship for a girl in a chat room he only knew for 6 weeks!

He decided he was already cheating on me and she was the better option. Something about putting out or getting out. I wasn't ready at 20, and he didn't respect that.

3 weeks in to Dumpsville, still reeling in shock he propose and then dump me just as fast, I was told I have thyroid cancer after going in for a routine yearly physical.

Out of the blue, no family history (it was later determined it is likely a CHK2 genetic mutation and my dad later got thyroid cancer too), no radiation exposure, and it *would* paralyze a vocal cord to remove the tumor. I may never talk again.

Or breathe.

I’m so sorry to hear. I’m having similar troubles. My marriage is now over and I was just diagnosed with MS. I already had lupus. I have two diseases where my immune system is literally trying to kill me. You’re not alone, the universe is kicking our butts.

Having personal knowledge about this ,I have never heard of any medical test results being sent via email. That is not a proper way to reveal results to any medical tests. Maybe a message to call your Dr via email. They want to tell you face to face so you can discuss what are your next steps, but never a message telling you you have cancer. If you got your results this way sue. Email is not private and your medical issues are
