The same thing happened to me and doctors just told me to “wait it out”. 19 days and it ended the afternoon of my anniversary. Our bodies know when we have plans and like to make us suffer.

Why do you need to have sex for your anniversary? go out for a date. Take a nice stroll in the park. Do something romantic together. There’s lots of things other than sex you can do.

That sucks, OP. Talking to a doctor and maybe trying a different birth control method or brand may help.

As for the time being, you can still have a romantic day or evening, and maybe your bf won't mind getting messy.

Make him wear a condom or get snipped. Why should we women have to struggle with chemically altering our bodies for the pleasure of men with no consequence? Is there a man here who would step up to the plate and slap on a connie? sure it's not 100% effective, but if you're breaking condoms when you fuck you're fucking wrong.

No birth control is worth that... I put up with implanon side effects for years because society likes to brainwash women into thinking we're irresponsible if we're not on fake hormones. Much happier and no accidents now I rely on condoms only.
