Today, in a drunken, depressed state I thought I heard my deceased mother trying to make contact with me from beyond the grave. It took me a moment to realise that the soft voice was from the music my neighbours were playing. FML

You should probably drink a little(or a lot) less.

I'm sorry about your mother, OP. But I hear it isn't uncommon to want to be contacted or given a sign from a dead loved one, drunk or not. Don't feel too bad.

Awww sorry for your loss. If you meditate (while sober) you have more of a chance of getting messages from your Mum. X

0% is not really "more of a chance."

17- First one? You mean none of the ones where the OP realized they had a cheating spouse caught your attention?

How is catching a cheating spouse sweet? Not "aww" as in "aw, man, that sucks ass".

It sounds like OP is probably drinking because they're depressed beyond belief because of their mother's death. That's just my humble opinion, though.

Join the neighbors party man, they are most likely playing beerpong.
On a serious note I'm sorry that you lost your mother. I imagine that as one of the hardest things to deal with. You should consider getting counseling or talking to some friends instead of drinking.

Must have been pretty frustrating. It shows that alcohol is just a cover up and can be misleading. Do something that you think would make her proud, you'll feel a lot closer to her.

I'm sorry, OP. I can imagine losing your mother is very hard. Getting 'signs' could happen even when you're sober though, although I'm again sorry that it was a false alarm. Feel better, OP. hope the pain ebbs eventually.
