Adopting an animal is the ONE thing you should never do out of impulse. And the fact that you can barely afford the deposit on the house, what made you think that adopting an animal would be a good idea given that you have two kids?

I'm sorry you sound insensitive ignorant and rude calling your 7 month old sensitive or needy. that's what infants do (s)he's just a baby. not a toddler. I think your purchase makes alot of sense. Since you sound like a child yourself. I've never met a mom who called her BABY needy. I am a mom too and you make me sick!!! good luck with your needy puppy too.

People have kids on impulse all the time, why is there no one to tell them the same? I always wondered and it kinda makes me laugh. In a cynical way.

Here I pity everyone except you. First of all the puppy that will probably end up abandoned. You’re the typical person that should NEVER adopt a pet

Fuxked up is what you did. First your child is OF COURSE gonna be needy...it's a baby, that's kinda their thing.

You knew you were planning on getting a home too.

You "impulsively" buy a cute top or some junk whilst passing it in the store.
You dont "impulsively" adopt a dog which is literally another child but with fur.

I’m just here to say you can absolutely have an extra needy baby. I had a premie and he was extremely sensitive. Doesn’t mean I didn’t take care of his needs. I spent every moment trying to make him comfortable and happy. Some kids are more high need than others for various reasons.

If you adopted, take the puppy back. Most respectable rescues would rather you bring the dog back asap vs later.
First year of puppyhood is expensive and time consuming.
