Today, I went to the doctor for a checkup. The doctor went through the normal questions, then paused for a moment and jotted something down. Later when I got back my report from the checkup, I noticed that the doctor had checked the "no" box by "sexually active." She didn't even ask me that. FML

They had a massive recall of children's tricycles because there was a point that kids could fall on and a few girls broke thier hymen on it. My best friend broke hers when she was three because she went to jump onto her couch after a bath, and the leg of a barbie doll went up and, yeah. There are lots of ways.

Even if the OP is the doctor is a shitty doctor. You can't properly diagnose if you ignore possible causes. I mean it's not a stretch from "Well all of your symptoms point to Syphilis but I don't think you're sexually active so it can't be that" to get to "well you have the obvious signs of heart disease but you're a girl so nope you're fine....heart attack huh weird didn't see that coming"

Its your own fault if she didn't even take the time to ask. Doctors don't skip questions like that on purpose, it could cost them their job if its wrong. Also, agree with #1, p;

Your age could have been a factor in which I could understand. The other factor is that you could be unappealing to the eyes.

Well it could be that when she examined your lower area that she could tell you were not sexually active.
