I thought classes usually started with an introduction and a review of the syllabus. I guess you didn't start to take notes until after that?

I have done that as well...I was running late because I couldn't find the building and I ended up in regular bio instead of bio for majors. Most of the people on here that don't get it probably haven't been to a big university with confusing buildings. It happens to the best of us.
