Today, I went out to dinner with my boyfriend and his mom. The hostess asked if I needed "the kid's menu," remarked how I look "so grown up for your age," and asked what grade I was in. I said I'm in university. She laughed as if it was the best joke ever told. I'm 22. FML

Just think, when you're ninety you won't look a day past thirty! :)

That's sort of a good thing to look young;)

I've seen people who are 20 or older who look like 13 year olds. I guess sometimes it's just hard to see what age a person is. But what the hostess did was really stupid. She shouldn't just have assume you were that young. I hope you showed her your I.D. and made her apologize.

Now I'm really curious and wanna look at a picture of you.

I know the feeling! I'm 20, and people often think I'm 12...I hate it!!! >_<

I look young too... though I'm a guy (and 19, but they always ask my ID and think that I'm waaaay younger). But people often ask my boyfriend and me if we are brothers and when we say we're dating, they ask him, that why is he with someone so young. And I'm older than he is...

Let her laugh. Let her have her fun. Don't tip.

Pay less. Go to prison. (not making fun of above. Just wanted to say it)

I can relate. I'm 21 and people think I'm 13

Look at it this way... After university you'll probably be making way more than the hostess ever will!

I got asked where my parent was because I "shouldn't be flying alone." I'm 19, and the unaccompanied minor age for that airline is 12
