Today, I was walking out of the grocery store and out of no where, a car backing up pretty fast speeds downs the parking lot and hits me, causing me to fall down and drop all of the groceries. The woman jumped out of her car, not to help me, but to carefully check her bumper for scratches. FML

Today, I was walking out of a grocery store. I hit the button on my key to open the trunk, which hit an old lady just under her chin and knocked her to the ground. As she laid there, she pointed a shaky, bony finger at me and yelled that she would sue me for everything I have. FML

Today, I was walking from my office to the place i had parked my car, a distance of approximately three blocks. As I was about to round the last corner I was forced to dive out of the way of a speeding car. As I looked up, I noticed that it was my car. FML

Today, I was fixing something in the back of my truck when a shopping cart sped past me towards traffic. I jumped down to catch it, but it was too late. Luckily, it didn't hit anyone, but a woman and her husband stopped to tell me what an asshole I was. Sorry for trying to save your car from someone else's cart. FML

Today, I was walking with my girlfriend when she began skipping ahead of me and out in to the street. I saw a car coming right at her so I tackled her to the ground to save her. Turns out the car was stopping and was never going to hit her, and my girlfriend doesn't appreciate concussions. FML

Today, I was driving around a parking lot, looking for an empty spot. Someone was backing out a bit too quickly as I was about to pass by, so I honked to announce myself. The driver instead panicked and reversed into my front bumper. FML

that's happened to me before. a woman reversed into me, and didn't even get out of her car, she just drove off. some woman standing 5 feet behind me was even screaming.

When I was 16 I was a cart pusher/stock girl. I was pushing a long thing of heavy carts up our uphill parking lot hen this lady in a blue convertible backed right into me from about two feet away, knocking all my carts over sideways and me to the ground. She got out of the car and clouted me with her giant purse, got back in her car and drove away, over the curb. I couldn't stand because my hip was badly bruised, and the other leg was scraped and bleeding through my white pants. I sat outside in the middle of the July sun for 20 minutes before someone realized something as up and came out to yell at me.

What a bitch! I've read a few articles that it's a fact that women tend to not look at their rear view mirror when backing out. Also their spatial awareness is sometimes lacking compared to men - generally. I say this as a non-sexist man as well - there are statistics about this kind of thing.

This happened to me when I was 9, woman drove off without checking on me. Turns out she broke one of my floating ribs and I didn't really find out what was wrong until I was getting a massage 10 years later.
