Make sure you smile and keep eye contact as long as possible the last time you'll see him!

At least you have a positive attitude of it.

uses positive attitude to refer to a positive attitude. so much on the bright side. too little cynicism.

you're the same person who typed that broken English paragraph trying to sound smart on the last FML aren't you, Ms first reply?

That's an awful reason not to hire someone. You can probably do better anyways. You don't want to work for someone who has that kind of attitude.

I don't know, maybe OP's smile was coming across more psychopathic-serial-killer-looking and less enthusiastic-employee-looking

#26 I don't see how that could possibly happen. *smiles politely and innocently at #26, with a sharp pointy knife in one hand and the severed head of a bunny in the other*

Hello #32 you're looking like an enthusiastic employee today!

That's a bit outrageous from his behalf, you're not doing anything wrong but maybe try talk to him about it and hopefully he will change his opinion ! Nothing much you can do with people like him

that's a stupid reason not to hire someone. get all of his current employees to constantly smile and see what he does lol

Just lovely to know we live in a world where people don't get hired because they smile to much

Clearly only the grumpy love their jobs. It makes perfect sense if you don't think about it

My boss tells me I don't smile enough.

Well, OP's company might have a better position for you.

I have that problem all the time.

It sounds like that FML where someone got fired for being too happy because they thought they were on drugs

Well take your smile to someone who will appreciate it and you. Sorry he's an asshole OP.

Well his loss
