Seriously? Leaving straightners or any heat appliances on bedding is an invitation for a fire to start! Come on nowww! Maybe it's better it burned your ass than burned your house down.

Third degree burns, really? If you had third degree damage, your skin would be black and nerve endings destroyed (and thus, no pain). YDI, drama queen.

very close family friends did this exact same thing and their entire house burnt down and a 5 month old baby was killed. i think you r rather lucky compared to our friends.

How do you know for sure they're 3rd degree burns? Have you gone to the hospital and asked them? I think not, because if you had, not being able to go to the party would be the least of your worries.

If you had actually gotten 3rd degree burns, you would not have been in any shape to go to a party. Instead, you would have been seeking out medical attention.
