Today, I was sitting on the bus to the gym. I saw that an old woman needed help to get off the bus, so I got up, and helped her off. When I had finally got her down the stairs the bus closed the doors and drove away. I was in the middle of nowhere and the bus drove away with all my things. FML

Today, I was on a very crowded bus, standing near the back door. People had to get off at the stop, and being near the door, I had to step off the bus, allowing the people to exit. I was about to enter back into the bus, the door closed and the bus driver took off, leaving me stranded. FML

Today, I took the bus. The old lady next to me almost fell when the driver stopped, but I managed to catch her. Five minutes later, the same thing happened to me. The old lady tried to help me, but I lost my balance and pulled her skirt down. FML

Today, I was leaving a cafe with some of my friends. I had to sit in the back of the car by myself. I opened the door when I saw an old woman needing help getting to her car because it was raining. I shut the door and went to help. My friends thought I had gotten in. I was left in the rain with no phone. FML

Today, I was on a tram and I noticed an older lady having trouble getting down the stairs. I immediately got up to help her, dropping my bag on the seat accidentally. As I went to get back on the tram, the doors closed. FML

Today, I temporarily got off the bus for the other students to get off, because they push and shove along their way. Then the bus driver closed the door on me and drove off. My laptop was on that bus. FML

Today, I was walking towards the bus. The bus was scheduled to leave at 3:20, and it was 3:19 so I decided to run for it. As the doors were closing, I managed to just slip my hand into the door, so it didn't fully close. The bus driver saw this, looked at my face, and then drove away. FML

Today, as I tried to get off the bus, my bag and the hand holding it got stuck between the exit doors. I dropped the bag in panic, but the driver wouldn't let me off until we got to the next stop. I had to walk all the way back to get my bag. FML

Today, I helped an elderly woman push her grocery cart around the store, and look for her vehicle after she'd paid. After we spent ages wandering around trying to find her car, she remembered that she'd taken the bus today. FML

So DID you tell de bus driver you were coming back? Because you can't expect the driver to just know that you didn't want to stay out of the bus when you got out.

I've seen numerous comments about stupid ass bus drivers driving off from people that from waht I looks like have clear intentions of getting in that bus, to whoever said, "bus driver, not mind reader", has it crossed your mind that if the bus driver in question, used his brain a little, he would not be driving a bus?

"middle of nowhere" can also mean that there was nothing but a few houses and nothing more. There are places and bus stops like that and no doubt that old ladies can live in such places.

In norway it's quite common for old people to live far out in the middle of "nowhere", because that's where they grew up or had a farm with their husbands.

In Norway, there's a LOT of "nowhere", old people live in nowhere. They usually can't drive either, so they have to get around somehow, which means that they'll have to take the bus. Busdrivers can be real douchebags sometimes. I've seen several old ladies getting stuck in the door because the busdriver were too busy to wait for them to get off, so they just got smashed between the doors. Real nice, huh?
