What a fantastic role model. People need to realize that children pick up these things extremely easily. Set an example for them by behaving like you want them to.

Well, that's your choice as a parent. I wouldn't suggest flipping birds, though. People tend to frown in disapproval when animals are manhandled that way.

#19: I don't know about five year olds, but when my friend was in elementary school he had to go to an anger management class. Instead of art class, he went with some other kids to learn how to handle conflicts. He didn't even realize it was anger management until the end of it when they presented him with a certificate.

I know that when I played football at that age it was something that was great fun, now refereeing has shown me how competitive parents get. Violence. Then that violence transfers to the kid. It just isn't right at all.

Haha, #32 one of my best friends had to go to anger management in Jr. High, he knew he went there though (it was school appointed). Luckily he took up football as a defensive lineman to take out his anger. To this day we still joke about it, but a coach of 5 yr olds to lose it is uncalled for...

How pathetic would it be if the kid in question didn't get a red card. I mean, yellow is bad, but you still get to play.

"What the flying bat shit was that Timmy!?? You call that a fucking kick!?" That's what I picture practice being like.

I can just imagine a bunch of 5 yr olds running around with their middle fingers up shouting F### You during the rest of the game.

This is why most children are complete arseholes these days. I don't think most people realise how much they look up to their mentors.

I won't deny there are plenty of really sweet kids out there, but the among the slightly spoilt ones who happen to have lots of different influences around them? Meh.

#60, at least you know how to use the word "asshole." I'll bet you picked that up in Little League.
