Today, I was on a very crowded bus, standing near the back door. People had to get off at the stop, and being near the door, I had to step off the bus, allowing the people to exit. I was about to enter back into the bus, the door closed and the bus driver took off, leaving me stranded. FML

That's why you push everyone on the bus these days, its you for yourself, or your standing alone in the rain...

#9, #10 You do. Obviously even enough to even type a comment about it.

Well I'd imagine the bus stopped at a bus stop and that being the case another bus would be there in a few minutes, so not really what I'd call stranded.

I remember when I almost missed the bus on the way to school. It was about to start moving away so I jumped in front of it. I almost didn't get off either and had to forcefully push the doors open to let myself out.

For all you people saying this is not an fml: have you ever had this happen or have you missed a bus before ? This shit sucks && it feels like your life is f*cked at that moment lol

I also remember when I was waiting for the bus to take me home, but it passed over me because it was too full. Dad wouldn't pick me up because it was "only 15 minutes away." It took over half an hour. That wasn't the first or last time, either. FML

I stopped being nice for that exact reason years ago.

and thats why you need too get a car.

That really sucks. You followed public transit etiquette, and you got dicked over anyway. Next time, just keep your arm in the doorway - the driver won't drive off unless the doors are fully closed. Well, at least they're not supposed to. At least if he did drive off with your arm stuck, you'd get another FML out of it.

couldn't you have like... moved on the bus. just like... move *away* from the doors. like, in my experience, i've never seen somebody *get off the bus entirely* to let people off. but then again, i live in new york and our buses are probably entirely different.
