Today, I tried to quit my job. My boss pulled me into his office and gave me a write-up for quitting, told me that he knows where I live and that I'd better be at work tomorrow or he's going to come and drag me into work. FML

Definitely call the police. That's a terroristic threat and he can go to jail just for threatening to do that.

Quit. If he shows up at your home, tell him to leave. If he doesnt (but isnt threatening you) call the non-emergency police line. If he threatens you, call 911.

Odds are he isn’t actually going to drag him to work. Everyone who felt the need to repeat “it’s illegal!” should calm down.

There’s a real simple solution here. Just keep quitting and getting written up until they fire you. Hell I’d even use this as an opportunity to do jack all and if they complain tell them that they can fire you if it’s that big of a deal.

How old are you and what state are you in? Quit, if you are old enough in a state that believes in self defense, get ready to. Most likely he's just a big bully blowhard.
