Today, I tore up my airborne academy admission documents because my lab results weren't good enough. A few hours later, they called me to apologize for the misunderstanding, mine turned out to be perfect and they'd accepted me. They need me tomorrow with all the documents to finalize the admission. Tell them what happened. They were the idiots that made a mistake and it is their fault.

I can't because a few hours prior, my dictionary told me I wasn't good enough so I ripped all the pages up.

I wonder is this happened to Mr. Scotch before he made his wonderful tape.

and I'm sure they won't reject you for tearing up your rejection papers, when it was their fault

sure. it's their fault the OP tore up his admission papers. because they sent an assassin to his address and forced him to tear up the papers at gunpoint....

while duck tape would fix it, I think that a clear tape would serve better in this situation.

time to start piecing it back together, or just ask them to reprint it since there are these new things called computers. computers work with these other new things called printers, printers perform magic by making stuff appear on blank pieces of paper

Best thing would probably be to just explain what happened.

But who really wants to hire someone with a temper like that?

That's not much of a temper... Trashing his house after he got rejected would be a temper.

all he has to say is that he tore them up to protect from identity theft before he threw them away. they most likely had important info on them. then they called after he threw them away.

The tearing part was too dramatic.

Why was it too dramatic? They told him he was rejected and the papers have personal information on them. I would tear them up too.
OP, explain the situation. I'm sure they'll let you redo the documents.

if you want to hide the fact that you yore up the docs, just tape the pieces together with clear tape and make a copy by using a color printer. they shouldn't really care since it's still your official doc and it's their fault that you tore up the papers in the first place

That type of document could have and engraved stamp it watermark to prevent this type of thing though.

it's not, they actually tell you to make more copies later on although I would advise you to never rip something again, just stick it in your folder
