Honestly, it sounds like she may not be mentally well either. In which case, you know where it came from. That doesn't make it her fault, of course, but now the both of you can start from there and find your way to wellness. Good luck to the both of you.

So now the mentally ill one instead of getting support has to care for the mother that blames herself. Yeah that makes sense.
She will stop if you lie and say oh look Im well again, it went away!

Stop trying to placate her and take care of yourself. If you don't have insurance to seek help many towns have text number and such where you can speak to a professional. The ads are on bus shelters and billboards.
